Turning Miss Kendall...UPDATE!!

Good news...Miss Kendall is no longer breech..lol That ish hurt like hell, but the doctors managed to get her head down. Basically they locate her head and butt, grab each end and start pushing like hell on your stomach to get the baby turned around. It sucked but I would have rather have had it done than had a c-section. Now lets keep our fingers crossed that she stays put!!!!
By the way, I hate taking pictures while I'm pregnant. I feel and look like a beached whale. When I look in the mirror i don't even see "myself." Anyway, Steve got a hold of the camera, so here's a very unpleasant shot of me at the hospital on the day we got Miss Kendall turned around.
People keep commenting on 'high" my stomach is at 37 weeks, but when your baby isn't head down your belly stays high. Hopefully now we can get this show on the road and my tummy will drop and we can have this baby ASAP!! Stick a fork in me..I'm DONE!!!

Oh YAY! I am so glad to read this today. I could not begin to imagine how uncomfortable and much that may have hurt.

Oh my gosh-- thanks for commenting on my blog because at least now I know someone else out there has been experiencing the same thing as me!!! I just read through your posts--- I too have had the "someone poking a stick into the bottom parts of my right ribs about 60% of the time" for the past few weeks. It started just on-and-off but now it is at least 60% of the time, and the only relief is to lie down on my left side. I sit through meetings at work trying to not press my right hand into my right ribs (sometimes if I press hard enough there the pain will subside). And the baby is SOOO high up that her whole body is just pressing up against my ribs. I don't think she's EVER head-down, ever. From what I can tell her whole body is horizontal-- way up high. I have an OB appointment tomorrow (36 weeks) and I am anxious to hear what they'll say. Thanks so much for commenting. I'll check in on you!!!
