Trevor has been potty trained for a while now. This summer we finally got the concept that poop goes in the potty just like pee pee. Anyway, many teachers believe that pull-ups are the downfall of civilization...LOL that they keep kids to dry and as a result the age in which kids are potty trained gets older and older every year. Trevor is a prime example of this theory. We would keep him in regular underpants during the day when he was home and he rarely had pee pee accidents because he didn't want to be wet, but when he went to school and on family outings he wore a pull-up. Let me tell you...this kid could careless about peeing on himself in a pull-up...they kept him to dry and didn't make him uncomfortable and soggy. Needless to say one day we just went cold turkey...big boy underpants all day everyday except at bedtime and just like that we was completely potty trained.Thursday, July 10, 2008
Pull-ups...the Down Fall of Civilization

Sort of what we, well what I did with Christopher & that potty training. Can you tell I am bitter? :-) I said no more pull-ups. Those things were just getting too expensive.
I bought him Spider man and ELMO underwear. At the time he had loved Elmo so much, and I knew he wouldn't poop or pee on Elmo. Well the laugh was on me because while he rarely had pee accidents,(the poop was the issue) he started taking off the underwear and pooping on the carpet. And I'll leave it right there because it went on for way too long.
