Trevor as been eating us out of house and home lately. Saturday morning he and I headed to the post office to pick up some items I had purchased for he and Kendall online and then went over to FedEx to pick up a little gift that Steve had purchased for me :) I got "The Green Bracelet" (pictured above) by Simmons (yeah..blood diamonds Russell Simmons) Jewelry Co. 7 1/4"..guess it's our way of helping the starving African babies we see on TV and wearing a cool piece of jewelry at the same time...warped I know. The bracelet features exotic green malachite beads and one genuine rough diamond. With the purchase of this bracelet more than $20 of the purchase price of this bracelet created by Simmons Jewelry Co. is donated to the Diamond Empowerment Fund (DEF), a non-profit organization which supports educational programs in African nations where diamonds are a natural resource.
OK..back to today's blog topic...once Trevor and I got home this kid was starving, and placed himself right on the kitchen counter as he watched his lunch being prepared from start to finish.
